Writing
My professional writing includes poetry, short stories, and novels. I am a lifelong writer, with a Bachelors in English with Honors from Roosevelt University.
In 2016, I was selected as one of the authors to be published in the first transgender literary magazine, THEM.
In addition, I worked as a First Reader for Cricket Media, reading and selecting submissions for their Cricket Magazine (ages 9-14).
Since 2016, I have worked in the field of transcription, with a typing speed of 100 WPM. My clients have included Lady Gunn Magazine, and several journalists and authors.
I specialize in writing for Young Adult & Adult audiences, with a preference for Romance and Historical Fiction. I am also a seasoned, accomplished fan fiction author, with more than 1.8 million words written for a variety of fandoms and over 1.3 million hits, 60,000 kudos, and 3,000 subscriptions on AO3.

Chelsea Station Magazine. “That One Time I Transcribed a Saul Williams Interview.” Poetry, 2016.
THEM’s debut issue, which is currently available to read on their site, does not disappoint. The 110-page first issue includes short stories and poetry from 19 different authors. The closing piece, Van Binfa’s “Four Years,” was an especially emotive and powerful way to end the collection, telling an account of the evolution of the author’s relationship with his mother.
